The Binneas Collection welcome donations of material to the archive. Any material relating to the song, music and dance history of Iveragh, no matter how small, is of tremendous importance to the archive. The list below gives an idea of the material
To donate material to the archive please contact Binneas at requested
Recordings (reel to reel, cassette video or other formats)
Hand written or printed songs or music.
Skellig lists, Biddy ballads, Ball songs etc.
Photographs with a connection to the local song or music history
Information on local musicians, singers etc.
Any information with regards to the local history of dance.
Ballad sheets and newspaper cuttings.
Any information you may think is relevant to the archive.
All material will be treated with the utmost respect and handled with care. After copying all material will be returned if desired.
