Binneas Collection Song: Beautiful Filemore

I dedicate this first song blog from the Binneas Collection to Matt Joe O’Neill, Deelis (1929 – 2018) . In conversation with him about songs and music from the area he mentioned the following line from a song, “From Foley's gates to Deelis bridge, and then for miles around.” He remembered the song being sung locally in his family home as a youth. This was the only line he could recall. Sadly the complete song was only uncovered after his death and I never had the pleasure of showing him the entire song. It is a great honour to be able to present the song here.
